Schneiders, Amadeus and Habsburg - Guarantee for Quality, Tradition and InnovationThe roots of the famous Schneiders manufacturer goes back to the foundation of a small coat factory in Vienna in 1895, starting with loden coats. In 1946 Julius Schneider opened the Schneiders Mantelfabrik in Salzburg and became famous for rubber coats, mainly with the so called Dirtl Trenchcoat (see advertising from 1951), a rubber wear for motorcyclists. Nowadays, Schneiders has 3 production lines: Schneiders (Schneiders Design, Schneiders Basic and Schneiders Fashion), Amadeus and Habsburg. Unitl now the most popular pieces of schneiders are traditional loden coats and capes, jackets for sport and suits from business to hunting!
To the left you see a picture of Californian Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, when he bought a Habsburg outfit in Kitzbühel during his stay in Tyrol in February 2003 for the Hahnenkamm race in Kitzbühel.
